Creativity Warms My Heart
My brother is very artistic.
His mind is always thinking of something new
to paint, sculpt, weave, photograph,
or my "favorite of favourites,"
pen and ink or pencil drawings.
He taught art in the
public schools for thirty plus years.
This is a pencil drawing
my brother did several years ago of
Christmas at Lynne's
when I was "over the moon"
with holiday decorating..
The photograph doesn't do justice to the finished piece.
You may have seen
this before on my blog
but I want to show it to you again.
My mom started drawing and doing
watercolor painting when she was in her late sixties
after having taught school for many, many years.
This is a photo
of one of her pieces
I have in our home.
Herbert Hoover's birthplace.
Why this was an interest,
I haven't a clue!
This is a photograph
my grandson did
when he was nine years old.
He was walking near the golf course
and saw the lone ball
and took the picture.
I had it framed
and it is one of my treasures.
This now 17 year old has a creative eye.
A print I purchase in Italy a few years ago.
