the hummingbirds are going crazy
flitting from branch to branch
flying in, getting a drink and out they go again
I clicked photos off and on from 3:30-7:30
I am hoping you are thanking me
for not including the hundred plus photos I clicked
the feeder is in the midst of the annabelle hydrangeas
I grabbed a chair from the porch and sat outside
surrounded by the flutter of wings
the pictures are in the order of the fly in
the pine boughs are what the camera
caught as I was focusing in on the feeder
I could get hooked on this photography thing
probably need another camera and a tripod
thank you to my new followers
and for each of you who visit
and leave me your comments
enjoy these final summery days of august
love lynne

sweet little filler-uppers! :) love the pic of the wings behind the feeder. :)
Great photos of hummingbirds doing their thing. We haven't had many this summer.
The wings behind the feeder was the best!! Ha!
They are the most delightful little creatures!!
Rain :)
Love seeing the Hummingbirds as we don't have them here.
That is the prettiest hummingbird feeder - great photos :-)
Tripods help a lot with capturing really clear photos. I'm just too lazy to use mine most of the time unfortunately. Loved these hummer shots, Lynne. Aren't they just the best winged creatures!
Great Hummer pics Lynne..What kind of hummers are they..They're different than ours?? I envy your patience..I bought a tripod this year in my quest to get a good full moon shot..Haven't gotten one yet..Tripods are cheap on Amazon..Even my little point and shoot fits on it...
Great hummingbird shots Lynne! Our feeders are so busy this week. They're getting ready to go south which is really depressing to me. They are so fun to watch. Then one day all of a sudden they're gone except for the odd straggler.
Great job catching those hummingbirds which is a tricky deal. Yes, photography is very addictive. Tripod is a must in my life :)
Great capture.
The flowers are few here.
Wgat marvelous photo's of the hummingbird. I love them all.
Lynne, I love your cute hummingbird shots.I love sitting on my deck and watching them zoom all around me. It is a cool experience. Great series! Have a happy weekend!
I love photographs of hovering hummingbirds. So precious!
Hi Lynne, I haven't seen a hummer or for that matter many butterflies this summer. Those are great photos, and what a thrill to have them buzz right past you. Have a great weekend my friend! Love, Penny
Your pictures are gorgeous. You did a fantastic job capturing those sweet little birds. Our hummingbird feeder has also included woodpeckers and orioles this week. It's quite the happening place!
Beautiful shots! Totally understand about the many shots -- I could truly just keep right on clicking! My first peek at your blog... Joyce in WI (born in MA)
I had to smile at your comment about the hundreds of photos. That's the way it is when we try to capture these exquisite creatures. You got some excellent shots, Lynne. Well done.
