Are you full swing into springtime like we are around here?
I am warning you this will be bit of a photo overload of
my flowers here at home and flowers we found today
when we went for a drive north to a well known wooded area.
We saw vast acres of Trillium in bloom, what a thrill.
I have been filling the flower containers and boxes
and I wanted you to see the pretty Dahlias
I found for my containers this year.
Enjoy . . .

Here is an update on the birds we have been finding in the yard.
The Indigo Buntings are still here as are the Purple Finch and Orioles.
I think I identified a Spring Warbler today and also a Rose Breasted Grosbeak.
Cardinals, Goldfinch, Robins, Chickadees, Nuthatch,
Wrens, Mourning Doves, Woodpeckers, Sparrows
seem to be our loyal daily visitors.
Thank you to my recent followers
and also thank each of you for
visiting me and leaving me comments.
You are the "bright spots" in my day
and at just the right time too!

I never get tired of flower photos. The neighborhood is dripping with lilacs and blossoms of all sorts. It's a party out there...and in my own garden too. Lovely Lynne, thanks for sharing! Love, Penny
Lovely. All of it.
I am always amazed to see a fern unfold. Such fascinating structure they have.
Enjoy the beauty you have created Lynne!
Look at all that gorgeous Trillium. What a fun adventure to see so many varieties. One of my favorite Michigan wines produced by Good Harbor is named Trillium.
The trillium is awesome. I like the dahlia pot. Turned out great. A rose bearded grosbeck, really? Wow,
Container gardens are the best way to enjoy flowers up close. The wild critters never bother them it seems, but they do go after the ones planted further from the house. xox
your garden blooms are beautiful and bright, but my heart belongs to the trilliums. :)
So pretty. It is just too hot, dry and windy here for all of that. I'm jealous.
Beautiful. The trilliums are very sweet.
Pretty flowers..Not doing much this year..have a beautiful week..
Oh Lynn, could never tire of flower photographs and yours are all just beautiful! You sure have a green thumb, Missy!
After a long grey winter I am enjoying all the colour - in my garden and on blogs. Gorgeous colour around your house!
It would be wonderful to see a carpet of trillium in bloom! I enjoyed your photos and love the container of colourful blooms. We're into rainy season here it seems but things are really greening up. Have a lovely week Lynne.
Flowers overload is fine with me! Loved seeing all of them...expecially the trillium and mayapples! I need to get out to the woods...I don't think I took a single picture of ginseng last year and I almost always go and find some just cause I like to see it grow.
Beautiful, just beautiful, Lynne! Especially that Trillium with the green streaks. Great photos!
My goodness, you are indeed in the deep of Spring! Love all the flowers, and some of them were new to me.
I've been un-covering the border plants here, and there are a few plants that I am still not certain what they are. There have also been some pleasant surprises.
I hope that you are having a great start to the week.
Smiles :)
Kerin
They are all so pretty, Lynne, and the dahlias are just spectacular!
Wow That Trillium is gorgeous ~ what a treat to see !
Looks like you are surrounded by blooming beauty these days :)
Beautiful photos, and am glad you have so many birds. Do you have birdhouses?
What gorgeous flowers! It's almost too hot out here for some of those. What a beautiful place you live in, Lynne. Just gorgeous. What kind of apples?? Never heard of those before. Are they edible? Hmmmm?
Lots of lovely flowers indeed. The Trillium is very pretty. I liked that one with the stripe on in towards the middle of your post. Also your Dahlia's are gorgeous. I have some planted in my beds but they are still pretty small plants and not yet in full bloom.
I am lovin' those early spring flowers. I have been on a few walks in the woods and also have been enjoy the trilliums and the may apples. And what an amazing assortment of birds...I am jealous.
Absolutely beautiful Lynne …. I love the trillium…… I shall have to look out for one ….. I think that they would be perfect for my garden. XXXX
Lynne - Your flowers are just beautiful. There are never too many flower pictures! Everything here in Oklahoma is just so green and pretty right now. Wish it could stay like that all year. I am your newest follower.
