our ministers married us
our children stood with us
many smiles, much joy
blessed, signed, sealed

we enjoyed a reception
with our friends and family
in the same venue

in the north

with snow falling and
several deer surrounding the cabin

My daughter asked me the other day,
how and why I/we chose an October day to be married.
I hadn't thought about it for a long time,
but October being one of my favorite times of the year
and being that something tragic happened in that month
I told her I was ready for something sweet!
Thus the eighteenth was chosen.
