Oh my. I agree Lynne as we had that extreme cold here for 3 days. We woke to fresh snow and freezing rain this morning but it's to be very mild with rain later on. Stay cozy and warm....it will soon warm up. Have a great week.
We had dangerously cold temperatures all of last week. Now a snowstorm, followed by an ice storm, and today things are beginning to melt. The ice and snow is falling from the trees and everything is dripping... LOL Winter..... ain't it fun!
When I was growing up and lived in a colder climate, gloves, hats and scarves were the norm! Spring and warmer days will eventually arrive. Keep warm Shane
Here in Southern California it has been in the 80's. So pretty outside. I visited a dear friend in Maine once..and I nearly froze. I shook and no matter how many blankets were on the bed..(so many it was hard to even turn over) I shook..I shook until I landed again In Los Angeles. Most miserable 6 days ever! Had it not been for the wonderful company of my friend..who by the way didn't even wear a sweater in her home..no fire going in the fireplace, nothing. Went garage sailing with her and couldn't even get out of the car. The seats in her car were heated and I clung to mine..I only tried to exit the car once..ran to get back in and stayed cold the rest of the day..This was in Connecticut in October. Arrived on the 18th and the plane could not fly fast enough for me to get home. So..Lynne dear, how are you other than being COLD! :):) Hugs!!
Ha! I try to do the same thing on the really cold days. We keep the house cool, because it's so expensive to heat it. So, I wear long underwear, layers of shirts and sweaters, and two pairs of socks and slippers. Now we're warming up. I hope you are, too! :)

Cold here in Kentucky too! We have a wood stove, which does take off the chill!! Stay warm!! A good book is the perfect thing for a cold, winter day.
