Springy Things . . .

I dressed this little rabbit

in a wire basket filled with hydrangea

he did just fine until the winds came along

grocery store tulips do just fine

to bring some cheer to the household

and some friends too

two bunches of twelve each for a few dollars

and five small bouquets

just the ticket

hand made pink eared crocheted rabbit

has been waiting to show his stuff

gifted to me many years ago

this adorable was waiting to say hello too

and a few other pretties

also came along to show you some springtime

the hand blown eggs are from the early nineties

have any of you ever blown the yolk and white from eggs

there is a trick to it all

and once you "find the trick" it works perfectly

these eggs are in pale colors of peach, light green, tan

and the eggs were from chickens belonging to friends of ours

different breeds, kinds

I think I may have to put this basket out of reach when

almost two year old great grand comes for a visit

my son Scott in

Baraboo, Wisconsin

Scott has an April birthday on the fourteenth and this was 1972

and there was a huge snowfall

so we made a rabbit and colored eggs

brings some melancholy when I see this picture

so many of our family members are no longer with us

pictures bring those treasured together times right back again

treat kindly and lovingly your family days with one another

and here I am back in my earlier years in Wisconsin

my dad and a friend raised cocker/setter dogs

my first beginnings of dog loving

looking at the shoes I may have been about five years old

wish my legs were still that skinny

and now we are back where I began

the wind blew the hydrangeas out of the wire basket

but I was able to recover them from the yard and make a redo

~

wishing each of you

Happy Spring and Easter Days

thank you for your friendships

Love ~ Lynne

You have some beautiful Easter decorations! I LOVE the photo of the two kitties! I might try to replicate that some way with my own kitties. :) I enjoyed seeing your photos of your early days in Wisconsin. Happy spring, and have a wonderful Easter!

It's hard to describe what I love most in this post, Lynne. Your decorations are fabulous (and aren't grocery tulips great? I just bought three bunches!) I love your sweet bunny and the beautiful eggs and cat photo.

But perhaps most of all I love the vintage photos of your childhood. What an adorable little girl you were! They ech tell wonderful stories of an earlier life and I just love seeing those!

Have a lovely weekend and new week!

Lynne, am I terrible to want a little bunny for a pet? Probably. Guess I will stick to the faux bunnies.
I loved the picture of you, Lynne. If we could have looked ahead, down the road into the future..It's been quite a journey. I love Easter.

I love the sweet hydrangea arrangement in the basket. Perhaps some florist foam will hold them in better? The tulips are delightfully colourful. What a sweet pic of you with the puppies. Fond memories. Have a lovely week Lynne. xx Pam
