another channel walk this past week
it is usually cooler at the lake
still managing to stay close to ninety though
this was a quick walk
snickers wasn't interested in this sailboat which was
sailing back in through the channel into muskegon lake
enough wind
to sail quietly through the channel
quiet peaceful
it's the little things

Sometimes the simplest beauties are the most calming. This feels very peaceful. Beautiful.
Those little things that come together to let us know we're alive and blessed to be seeing them!
Good morning, sweet friend! You live in such a lovely place in this country. Have a lovely Sunday afternoon. I know I'm slipping but I'm out here. :)
Sending love..

beautiful setting, stay cool
Oh how I long for a daily walk by the water.
A perfect way to spend any summer day!!! How lovely!!
Life is short so, seize the day. My Daughter was sailing out of Rockland Me.
The day was so beautiful and the wind picked up in a second. Needless to say,
dropped sails and motored back. This heat wave is awful.
Mainers do not have central air, no need for it. I just bought 2 window units.
Don't tell me it's not Global warming. Hello Mr. Gore! He warned us.

I love sailboats on the water. Just can't ride in them...
Lovely, it must be so tranquil to walk there.
What fun. It looks so pretty and peaceful there.
What a beautiful picture Lynne ..... a sailing boat on blue waters ..... makes me want to jump on board !! XXXX
I would love to spend hours there reading a book...
Hello, pretty views of the water and sailboat. Looks like a peaceful place to enjoy a walk.
Enjoy your day and the week ahead!
Catching up on your entries. What beautiful views! Michigan is so lovely in the summer! And that area is beautiful! We used to stop at a wonderful little antique shop in Ludington years ago on our way to Arcadia. I have so many Lake Michigan rocks laying around my house! Looks like you sure are enjoying your summer!
Lookin' good in your part of the state!
such good photos...always have wanted to sail along on such a magical boat...
