Wow, I didn't hear about the weather. I have been away from the computer and tv all day, but there has been crazy weather here all week long...high winds, rain, wicked thunderstorms. I am glad that everyone is ok and the tornadoes have passed. Scary!

I'm glad to learn that you are alright. Weather is one of the last frontiers - one of the last things to remain out of human control and we are really at its mercy!

Glad you are safe and every one had a warning.

Yes, I'm glad we have those weather alerts now and that you all were kept safe. So sad about the damage done, though. I hate seeing beautiful mature trees ripped up and destroyed. I always think of tornadoes being a springtime phenomenon, but I guess any time the weather is right, huh. Hope you have a good and safe week! - Judy

Glad you escaped the damage..Sorry for those that didn't..Those trees look very hollow..Probably wouldn't have survived a lot longer..Too bad about those houses...Great photos...

I'd heard about the tornadoes, and I'm so glad that you are safe! We used to have warnings/watches when I was growing up in Kentucky. Fortunately we were never directly in one, but I've seen first hand what they can do, and they are really something to take seriously!

Oh my gosh! I hope that clean-up comes quickly and that life returns to normal before too long. Those poor houses and beautiful old trees! Glad everyone was safe.

Yikes. We heard about this while we were gone. I have a tree down in my yard from storms but nothing on the house. I hope all gets or already is cleaned up in your area soon. Always hurts to lose trees -- especially on houses.
