Oh My . . .
Yesterday Morning . . .
as I was doing some work on my lap top . . .
in a bedroom I call "my office" . . .
my eyes wandered to those pics, books and things I see each day . . .
and how I get lost in "back then" and the "stories of my life" . . .
Lynne says often . . . "Memories are gifts we never ever have to give away" . . .

Who Would Have Thought . . .
that a photo from the early 1940's would have received such loving care . . .
All I can say is thank you, thank you . . .
THANK
YOU
Yesterday morning I received this . . .
Hello Lynne,
I saw on your blog where you had a beautiful photo of you and your father that was "fixed" by Jeanie of The Marmelade Gypsy and Nancy of A Joyful Cottage... well you can now add mine :-) I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. *wink* I don't use a "program" I do mine by pixel--- one at a time. I didn't fuss to much with the background shadows as I felt that would make the old photo look "photo shopped"... besides, I think it is a natural shadow occurring from something in the room.... Any~who, I hope it brings a smile to your face.
big hugs,
Cheryl over at Artsy Fartsy
My treasured photo is going to be framed and added to my dresser top collection . . .
Pixel Success . . . I would say . . . one by one by one . . .
Love ~
Lynne

I haven't found the original "Oh My . . . " but I did find I had opened the post on my iPhone. Late this morning I quickly saved it into my notes and here is the post. Disappointed I lost the comments though!.

So glad you found it..I think I had commented that it was so nice to see someone else who had framed photographs around..I think they add warmth to a room..Keeping them as part of a blog post will preserve them forever..Have a wonderful weekend..Hugs
Your photos and books tell a lot about you Lynne. How sweet of the person to fix your old photo of you and your father. It is a dear treasure and should be framed. Lovely post.
