Humbling . . .

Painted stones with some friends yesterday . . .
Well they painted beautifully . . .
None of these are my artistic gems . . .

Barb’s first three beautiful stone paintings . . . she was on a roll . . .

Melissa’s two stone gems . . .

Donna’s exceptional beauty . . .

and then there was me . . .
Ever have a moment when it just doesn’t happen . . .
No matter how many times I tried . . . I came up empty . . .
Wiped my stone clean, painted over it, started again . . .
Oh finally . . . I had a stone painted but not a keeper . . .
I know when I have met the challenge . . . and still challenged . . .

Humbling . . .
Not giving up . . .
I have plans for today and tomorrow . . .
Stay tuned . . .
love

They are gorgeous and I'm not really a fan of painted stones...I'm sure you could put a rabbit or a pumpkin on one or two ;)

Those rocks are pretty. Glad you're going to try again.

When I was a kid, my cousin Patty and I painted rocks all the time. Doorstop size. I still have one or two. Those were the days. I did collect some stones at Lake Huron that may see paint. Or maybe not -- they're kind of pretty as they are!

How pretty! One moment you will pick up the brush and everything will fall in place and you, too, will have a beauty to call your own. xo Diana

It was another fun day. Lynne, you have so many talents...don't let this bump in the road discourage you. Remember the day I came to a painting afternoon at your house and did nothing? We all have our days. 💕

The plain stone is a beauty in itself. Art has many forms!
And that quote from Little Women...my Fav!!! In fact that whole chapter is one that particularly spoke to me.
