Oh WOW .... such beautiful and dramatic photographs and soup is really the order of the day .... it sounds { and looks } delicious. I love soup and nearly always have it for lunch. Beautiful ribbons .... I'm a sucker for pretty ribbons. XXXX

Those photographs are wonderful. I am envious of that photo op! Yes, Thanksgiving will be quite different for a lot of us. I hope that the majority of the population does the same thing but I'm afraid that's not going to happen. Thanks for being smart! Hopefully it will be different next year. I guess that remains to be seen. Your soup looks yummy! Enjoy!

Hi Lynne...
The windy weather was also at our cottage...fingers crossed not a repeat of last years disaster...
Your soup looks delish...
You are very wise about Thanks giving...we didn’t see our family either, but our cases are surging, as people just don’t listen😔
Stay safe...
Cheers!

Yes, I would love a copy of that chicken soup recipe. Our Thanksgiving will be much like yours small - maybe just my daughter with us since she is not married and would be alone - and we see her every weekend anyway. She gets tested every week in her job.

I love it when the water is wild. The best whitecaps were always along the Pacific shores.

Beautiful photos and isn't soup just the best?! Nothing like it to warm the body and heal the spirit. Just the four of us "housemates" for Thanksgiving. lol

Yes, those were some wicked winds, for sure! Thanks for sharing the photos. Your soup looks delicious ... and warm! Yum! Good idea to pare down the group for Thanksgiving. We'll be only 3 ... or 5 if the adult kids come over. No grandkids yet. Stay safe and warm!

Those photos are amazing and knowing how cold Lake Michigan is, I'll bet that wind took your breath away -- Make that yummy soup perfect for the day! Okay, perfect for any day!! :-)

Serious waves. I was wondering what the Big Lake looked like! Looks like you found good comfort food for a windy day. (Can you please email me an update on your tribe? Thinking good thoughts!)

Just two of us at our house, too, Lynne. Gonna miss the kids though!
Love the ribbon-pretty colors.
We used to live right on Lake Michigan and OH MAN those storms could knock you down....xo Diana

Hey! Lovely photos and that soup looks good! I notice that we are sitting together at Thanksgiving. At least on Nana Diana's blog we are. Cheers!
