Thursday I was raking and blowing leaves for the final time
Saturday morning we awakened to snow and eighteen degrees.
The snow continued off and on for most of the day and
the cold brought the slippery roads which are not fun at all.
I heard that the colder weather and possible snow was on the way
so I hustled to get the final leaf pick up finished.
The bird feeders are replenished,
one new feeder to add to the others this year
and an tripod purchase so
hopefully I can capture some bird close ups.
Snickers warm coat came out of the closet
and we took off down the road
Saturday morning
for a brisk walk to enjoy the
first snow of the season.
I tie up my grasses in the fall
so it is easier to rake around them
to pick up the leaves.
I think they have made
some cool sculptures
thinking they might be snow geese
and now on to food preparations
for Thanksgiving Day
Happy Thanksgiving
