Blueberry heaven . . .

Michigan blueberries, some of the best.
I didn't pick these blueberries although they had been "just picked"
Reenders style, which is a blueberry farm south of Grand Haven, Michigan.

For those of you who don't know Michigan, better yet, Western Michigan,
this is a beautiful area on what we call "The Big Lake."

The area south, along the western shoreline of
Ludington, Hart, Pentwater, Montague,
Whitehall, Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland
is rich in beautiful sandy beaches, clean Lake Michigan water
and luscious fruits and vegetables.

You'll find camping, Michigan Adventure water park,
vast shoreline with areas to beach walk and
places to swim, play volley ball and people watch.

Gorgeous indeed
and NO, I don't work for the
Chamber of Commerce,
 or for Reenders Farms.

While you are here,
make sure you pick or purchase
 some of our wonderful
 Michigan grown fruits and vegetables.

(You might be able to call this number
and have something shipped to your home?)

Asparagus
Apples
Blueberries
Peaches
Raspberries
Blackberries
Strawberries
Sweet Corn
Zucchini
to name just a few
would be tasty and nutritious treats
for you and your family.

There are farmer's markets on most  days,
located in each of the cities mentioned above
where you can find fruits and veggies to purchase.

This photo is of a Reender employee
packing "just picked" blueberries
by a young family.
{They didn't want their picture taken.}

Mind you, it was early in the morning
during the heat wave of 90 degree weather.
 I was impressed and thankful
I didn't have to be doing the picking.
