I took a drive today
to catch some photos
of trees in bloom
Yellow in the Forsythia
Pink in the Cherry
A Bleeding Heart
ready to bloom.
I was sad to note
as I walked in our woods
that our Trillium
with tiny blooms beginning to pop
had suffered frost night before last.
Frost warnings again tonight.
It is the first time ever I have covered
my perennials to protect from frost.

love that brilliant forsythia with the green blanket of grass. :)
Oh yes! I also love the brilliant yellow forsythia and the beautiful green grass! We have snow on the ground this morning as predicted. Have a lovely day Lynne! Hugs, Pamela
So pretty...we are finally in bloom here too...have a great day!
Forsythia are such beautiful bushes. I love to stand next to them and let the sunshine reflect onto me. It makes me so happy!
That hedge of forsythia is so gorgeous. So vibrant against the green.
What a lovely drive you had. Thank you for taking us along. You found the same gorgeous spring color I found reorganizing closets and drawers. Your way was much better.
