Everything Blooms and Blossoms . . .

I took a drive today
to catch some photos
of trees in bloom

Yellow in the Forsythia
Pink in the Cherry

A Bleeding Heart
ready to bloom.

I was sad to note
as I walked in our woods
that our Trillium
with tiny blooms beginning to pop
had suffered frost night before last.

 Frost warnings again tonight.
It is the first time ever I have covered
my perennials to protect from frost.

absolutely beautiful
spring time

a guest post
 I was honored to do

Forsythia are such beautiful bushes. I love to stand next to them and let the sunshine reflect onto me. It makes me so happy!

What a lovely drive you had. Thank you for taking us along. You found the same gorgeous spring color I found reorganizing closets and drawers. Your way was much better.
