Look who came to visit my daughter and her family
Sunday night after Tyler's graduation.
They were watching a movie,
heard some noise
at the slider on the lower level of their house
and lo and behold
a little deer babe . . .
Momma called with gusto when they opened the slider
and off he/she ran . . .
Snacking on the luscious Hostas is what momma was after. . .
We are hoping for a return visit . . .

Oh my gosh! Such a sweetie! Poor things, we have had them in my yard. Our neighborhood is on the outskirts of town and they are after water and green anything, it's been such a dry year here in California!
They ate our apple trees, newly planted, so we removed and returned them (Lowe's is great about that!) Now they are coming to drink water from our drip irrigation!

OOoooooooohhhh!!!!! so cute!!!! i wonder where her mother was?? usually when they're that young...she doesn't let the little ones stray very far!!
