how can it be
just a few years ago
you were just a little boy

always determined
with a mind of your own
sensitive independent exceptional
creative with word and photograph
searching wondering testing
you are a really cool kid

I love you, we all love you!

Please remember the many many people
who attended your commencement.
They were there for you and your classmates.
They were there in support, love and pride.

Family is a forever gift Tyler
We are for YOU . . .

Life will serve you well
Give of yourself and serve life as well.

The words your teacher read
say it best
"the one you feed."

TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson
about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is
between 'two wolves' inside us all.
One is Evil.
It is anger, envy, jealousy,
sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies,
false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is Good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,
humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity, truth,
compassion and faith.
The grandson thought about it for a minute
and then asked his grandfather; "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied,
"The one you feed."

Thanks, Lynne. when I have those days, I should never pick up the computer !!! I do thank you for your wise advice. Usually, I just grab my camera and get out of the house for the afternoon. Love it.
I do appreciate the time you spent writing, though.
I was enjoying your graduation picture's very much. I love the long blonde hair !! The time flies by fast, doesn't it ?
Your are a good blog friend !

I so envy (the bad wolf) you with such a lovely grandson. We do not have any children in our lives just yet and I am so ready to be a grandmother to someone. Thank you for sharing this lovely time. What a fine looking young man you have for a grandson.

Love the Two Wolves !! How true. Also, your pictures are beautiful, especially the flowers. I love the blue one sooooo much. You are a great photographer. I can't help but think we are very much alike. I have always bee for the under dog- wonder why ? My Dad showed me how by example. Is Snickers a dog or do you just like them ? My favorite, too. Age - I have you beat on that one - 1935 and I don't know where the time went.
I am slowly loosing avenues for friends as I was hacked ?as they say on Facebook, and another is a stalker -- creepy. Decided to make my blog private - Would love to hear from you now and then. Same email, and I hope you have a super, wonderful vacation. It's been a real treat to meet another Irish lover of anything green!!! Have fun !!!
ps The Marigold Hotel was wonderful, and I, too, want to read the book........
