White Caps, Colors and Rocks . . . .

The past few days have been the best days!
I took off on my own this past Friday and
took some photos of the Gulls and White Caps on Lake Michigan.

Jack and I enjoyed dinner together out and about Friday evening.
Sushi for him, veggies and chicken for me.

Saturday we took off in the car to see the colors
and look for more rocks for the wall we are building.
Snickers was with us.
She is not fond of car rides but did just fine this time.
I put some veggies and beef in the crock pot
to be ready for us when we returned.

Today has been a quiet day.
breakfast, lunch, dinner
Special Eggs.

I spent the afternoon creating.
Jack read the papers
Snickers snoozed on his lap

We enjoy our life
and we are grateful for each other.

Life can be busy and stressful.
Keep it simple and enjoy!

You got some wonderful pictures of the lake and that red lighthouse! Beautiful! And those rocks. That is quite a load. It sounds like you had a fun weekend enjoying each others company and the beautiful fall scenery. Simple is good. :)

Hi Lynne, James Taylor and John Denver sing about Country Roads...your photos show why! With all roads leading to the Lake, what better way to spend a perfect Autumn afternoon. Nice rocks...;-). Love, Penny

Looks like Jack is pretty handy behind the camera too. Your yard is looking great in autumn, Lynne. The first seaside photographs with your camera are calendar ready. Have a good week.
