Happy New Year . . .

This Happy New Year card is a favorite in my collection.
Some of you may remember seeing it last year.
If you look carefully you will see the year,1911.
Although it is my favorite, it isn't postmarked on the back.
However . . .

. . . this postcard, also a favorite, is postmarked in the year 1911.
It was a happy day when I found these postcards a few years ago.
One hundred and two years ago postcards were mailed for one cent.

Wishing you a
Happy and Healthy
New Year
2013
Love
Lynne

Precious keepsake for good old days. Holding a card is a touch of love, more than reading an e-card.

How wonderful. It seems extra special holding something so old and wondering about the people who sent and received them. Happy New Year to you and yours. Joan

I love your vintage post cards Lynne...as you know, those images are a favorite of mine as well. the art work from the late 1800's through the 20's & 40s was so unique, and your precious examples show just that. How fortunate you are to have some.
All the best to you and yours in the New Year...and thank you for always stopping by, I enjoy your visits so much!
