We Are In The Loop . . .

 I watched
seasons one and two of
Downton Abbey
with my
Irish Garden House
hubby during the holidays.

Neither of us had previously seen any of the episodes.
It was a viewing marathon for several days.
  We especially enjoyed watching
the two seasons in their entirety
instead of waiting from week to week.

We found
seasons one and two
available through our local library.

Season three
Masterpiece Theater
Downton Abbey
is available for purchase.
It is just might have to be a purchase for me!

Who is your favorite character?

I am still trying to find it in the stores here to no avail. Haven't seen any of it yet. :(

Barnes Noble near you? Season 3 isn't released at Barnes Noble until January 29. If you don't have a B&N store near you can order seasons 1 and 2, soon 3, on line.

I rather like the other grandmother, played by Shirley Maclean, who you will see in season 3. Season 2 started last week on PBS.

Lynne, I have not watched this show. It does seem to be a pretty popular show. Hope you have a happy Sunday!

There are many characters I LOVE on this show! Maggie Smith is one. It's the best show out there, in my humble opinion. ;)

Hands down mine has to be Maggie Smith. I’ve always been a fan and this matriarch character was made for her. Happy day, Lynne.

Oh my.... which is my favorite? I'm not sure, I love the grandmother and also adore the little kitchen maid, Daisy, who was pouting on the show last week because she has not gotten a promotion yet. She is always rather sullen and getting in trouble with Mrs. Patmore, the cook.

Oh Lynne I am so glad you are enjoying Dowton Abbey. Sunday evening is one of the few times I turn on the television. I'm a huge fan of Maggie Smith. I also adore the two who manage the downstairs, Mr. Carson and Mrs. O'Brien. Enjoy the third season!

This is our favorite guilty pleasure on Sunday nights. I'm so glad my husband enjoys it too. Because my husband is a huge fan of Maggie Smith from Harry Potter, we enjoy the remarks of the English Grandmother (Violet Crawley) on Downton Abbey.

Surprisingly, I didn't get into it much. I rented it on Net Flix but had to watch during the day because, there is no way my husband would watch it. We do however watch a series on NetFlix (we're on season 2) called Parenthood. LOVE it!

Happy Sunday to you Lynne! My sister loves this show and accused me of living under a rock when I told her I never heard of it! I told her if she'd get a computer she could join the rest of us in the 21st century.Hah! I'm glad you got your issue with Blogger worked out, when I set up my new computer my internet provider advised using firefox instead of google chrome! Whatever you do Don't ever get used to one thing cause nothing stays the same for too long anymore! Love those ornaments in your previous post! Is it time to start thinking about Valentines? I still have two rooms with Christmas stuff up yet!!

Love the show. Come on America, give us some shows like this. I've been watching the series The Tudors on Netflix, also very good.
