Midwest Meet-Up . . .

what fun
a
Midwest Meet-Up
on
saturday

barbie and I took off friday for chicago land
barb's sister joined us so she could
spend some time with her great niece
while her niece and husband
cheered on the spartans
 at the
united center

we stopped at
southern belle's in bedford park
for a bite to eat

best comfort food ever
ask for mo

she will provide
great service,
very pleasant
and she is fun too

Room 363
was where we met for our
Midwest Meet-Up

twenty five
plus a few more
talented women
and
mark
the owner,
(also very talented)

we cuddled in
to meet one another
hear bits and pieces
of life history
and
crazy fun life moments

oh yes, we managed to share
some blogging information/ideas too

we brought favors
and business cards to
help identify our blogs and ourselves

irish garden house

 made clay shamrocks

there were
sweet treats
creative cards and notes
gifts and more for us to receive
which we tucked into a meet up swag bag for take home

the shop had me browsing at the first sound of go
i wanted this but it didn't hop into my purchase bag

so much to see and dream about

tiny little treasures tucked here and there

the birds caught my eye and a few flew into my purchase bag

there were others peeking at ideas
caught you penny

my maiden name is peacock
wonder why this photo happened

loved these
i have some audubon prints
guess what
i need to find some
 circular frames

mark provided wonderful hospitality for our
boisterous, energetic, somewhat gregarious
most assuredly talented, happy, loving, chatty group

thank you to
jen rizzo for bringing us together
and for making the midwest meet-up happen

i am sure everyone agrees
we appreciated you jen

the only
people pictures i took
happened to be on my iphone
which is new to me

surprise surprise
i am a bit technology challenged

  i had it on video
mostly cackling sound
in the background

it certainly reassured me
that this was a fun day

it was great meeting each of you
i look forward to visiting you
on your special place
in the the web world

ta ta for now
love
lynne

Holy Smokes, your photos are amazing Lynne. We did have a great time, didn't we? Wish you lived next door, but it's nice to know you're just a click away! Love, Penny

Lynne, it looks like so much fun! Meeting new friends and bloggers sounds great. I loved the photos. I had to laugh that some birdie items flew into your shopping bag. Thanks for sharing, have a happy week!

Fabulous!! I love hearing bloggers meeting in person. It's nice to have face to face contact when possible. I had my first blogger friend meeting on Friday night. It was a delight!
