A Summer Evening . . .

Jack and I attended an event last night
which was held on the grounds of
Hampton Green Farms

This farm is located in
Fruitport Michigan
and there is another in
Wellington, Florida

web access to the farms can be found here

This fundraiser dinner was for the
Father Jack Foundation

The mission statement;
"to respond quickly, with dignity and respect,
to those in our community with unmet needs."

Father Jack was known as the Peace Priest
in the days when I first began working at the hospital.

I wish I had kept track of the many people he helped
provide food, clothing, heat, housing
during those years.

I would phone him for his help
and there was never a hesitation.
He found a way.

Father Jack

the grounds were outstanding

music, great food, 50/50 drawing, laughter
a festive evening

Hampton Green Farms
provided their farm
tent, music, food
for this fundraiser

several sponsors were also mentioned

the stables and show grounds were exceptional

 equine beauty

Such a pretty place, Lynne. I love the sculptures, and that colt is very sweet. A really wonderful place to hold a fundraiser for a caring and compassionate man like Father Jack.

The grounds, and the building are stunning, what a gorgeous sunset.

And a great fundraiser, sounds like it was so much fun.

There are such good people in the world, it makes the balance more then tip that way.
