A Little Bit Of Random . . .

1
one week seems to roll into the next
before I have even finished with the week before
are any of you having this problem

2
my friend barbie and I went to a tree farm
to make wreaths, just like we did last year
looks like this will be an annual event

a camping friend was there unbeknown
 to barbie or the friend
and you should have heard those two
you'd have thought they hadn't seen each other
for years instead of two weeks ago

see that little metal thingamajig
you grab a bunch of greens
lay them across that thingy
then press the foot thing down
and a wire comes up, grabs the boughs
and presto, the beginning of the wreath

trimming the boxwood around home here
means I am going to the farm to make
a boxwood wreath very soon

3
two of my friends who I don't see as often as I would like
were there to make wreaths too
bet jane is going to love this photo
my friend joann can be seen in the background above

4
we have show and tell
just like kindergartens
barbie made a beautiful wreath

4+
I liked mine too
I brought some boxwood from home
to mix with the greens from the farm

5
and here is a sneak peek of us
ever try to get a dog to look at the camera
we will try for another photo shoot soon
when hopefully I won't have helmet head
we will change it up and wear some green next time

is a wonderful visit
you'll find someone authentic
her name is nancy
plus you'll find friends
who have some random thoughts to share
~
can you find something you are grateful for today
today I am basking in the gratefulness
of having dinner with my youngest grandson last night
such a joy that boy is

thanks for visiting
Love, Lynne

Love your wreath. I love boxwood wreaths. In the past I have used boxwood to make our advent wreaths. I think you photo is perfect. Will you use it on your Christmas card? I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Bonnie

You always look great and no helmet head silly. I need to get my husband to pose for a pic too. It is hard to do since he does not like cameras.

Wow, love the wreathes, you gals were busy. I use to make wreathes each year when I lived at the farm house and now, I've not the trees for it. I guess I could walk the Confederation Trail and snip a bit.

Love the red on u two!! These wreaths are beautiful! Are those metal things just for professional tree farm or priced so everyday people can buy them?!?! I'd love to make my own-love that you combine so many different greens together!!! Christmas season is the best of all !!
