Heads Up . . .

I gave mom and pop a heads up this morning
when I heard my first
boom of thunder

I curl up mostly with my pop most days
but when I hear thunder I run for mom
because she puts my
Thunder Shirt on.

Oh I know
there are those of you who say
it doesn't do a darn thing

But I am telling you the truth!

It snuggles me up nice and tight
and I feel safe and cozy and worry less..

Mom had a little chat with me
and told me we might be
having a rocky weather day.

She said they would take good care of me
and grab me first if a tornado appears on the scene.

Silly you say!

Just trying to remind you to be careful
if you live in the
Chicago, Indiana, Michigan area.
I think down near Nashville
you might need to watch out too.

I don't sit still for pictures very often
but I did this time because
my mom likes all of you very much
and wants you to pay attention and be careful today.

So, Heads Up . . . okay?.

(Thunder Shirt isn't giving mom any coins for saying this!)

Good Evening Lynne, Oh your little pooch is adorable. I have never heard of a thunder shirt before, does it help a dog to remain calm when the lightening and thunder strikes? I hope you are all keeping safe from the bad weather.
I have just read your previous post about making a wreath. I loved your description of thingies and the like. You sound just like me, as I do that as well.
Best Wishes to you,
Daphne

So sweet! I imagine the Thunder Shirt works on dogs like a cattle squeeze chute works on well, cattle.

Stay safe you all!

Thunder shirt?? HOW cute! I have never heard of such a thing. When Mele hears thunder, which she seldom does...she thinks it's the trash truck (which she hates) and jumps up on the back of the couch and barks..

I am so afraid of thunder storms that I would not do well in your area..but then of course we live in earthquake country...so...you know.
Ohhh..that Snickers is the cutest little thing...
Lynne..we have such cute doggies!!
:)
Yes..STAY SAFE!

Poor cute Snickers! Nice to be snuggly in the thunder shirt. My Goldie Girl does not like thunder either. I hope everyone stays safe from the storms there. Take care!

So glad to hear the Thunder shirt works for Snickers! If cuteness kept the thunderclaps away you'd be all set.

Keep your Mom and Pop safe!

Lynne, I've used Thunder Shirts for years and they do help; proof is in the wearing and not going crazy for the dogs.

So precious. Our vet suggested the thunder shirt for Willie. I hope you were exempt from bad weather. I thought it was coming through here, but seems to have traveled around us. Bonnie

Snickers must be staying tight to you today. This is going to be a long night. I keep checking WoodTV and those winds are going to be with us until 4am. Yikes. Our power keeps flickering. So far, the treehouse is still in one piece.

I still haven't investigated a thunder shirt for our Isabelle, but she is doing much better during thunder than she did with the fireworks in July. She shook so hard for so long it was simply sad.

Snickers you look adorable in your Thunder Shirt. We should have had one of those when we had our Cocker Spaniel, she hated thunder.

Aww Lynne this is the cutest entry. Do they make thunder shirts for humans?

Oh, she's just so cute Lynne! I love the expressions and the tilt of her head. I'm glad you are safe and didn't experience the storms wrath. I feel so sorry for those who were devastated by the tornados. Just awful!

Oh Lynne, such a cute and the pics are perfect. Seeing the devastation on tv was enough, glad you are ok and worry for those who have been effected, time passes
