Amazing Sunshine . . .

the evening before the day of amazing sunshine
I put some carrots out for the bunny
so far, no takes
plus the carrots are now frozen

 do you see it
bright rays shining on the snow in the woods
and in the window
onto this prism
which I have had since the late seventies
gifted to me by my brother in law
moved from one house to another and another
I used to love watching the grandchildren
when they would be with me
sit in the highchair and be
in awe as the sunbeams flitted around the room
reflecting  dancing  sparkling
its the little things

 more tulips
more sunny cheer

today
two twenty two fourteen
sunshine
all the day long
snickers found sunny warmth too
she said
I like

its the little things
enjoy
until next time

Ji Lynne. Yes the prism makes for lovely colours. I have a crystal lamp in my drawing room that when the sun shines on it, I have all these tiny coloured lights over my walls. Your Tulips would brighten even a dull day however I am glad you had so much sun for a change. does your heart good.

AHHH, lovely sunshine! Maybe the bunnies will still find the carrots. The prism is pretty, it is fun watching the colors bounce around the room.. I love the tulips. And Snickers steals the show, soaking up the sun! Have a happy day and week ahead!

oh, those bunnies missed out on a great treat. I wonder if they like them frozen as well as fresh? Guess not.

With all that cold, there has to be some sort of reward doesn't there?

Beautiful sunny shots of the woods outside your window, Lynne. It looks lovely but I'm sure you can't wait to see green out there. It's sunny and -18C here today and it's a lot milder back home. I hope you have a pleasant sunny week of melting snow. :)

The sun has been a welcome friend these last two days. The whole house feels better with sunshine. What fun your crystal must have been for your grands when they were younger. Little rainbows throughout the room. I think Josie would like that very much.

I think everyone should have a prism like that and a sunshiny window to hang it in...would have loved to have that when Lo was young, and if I ever see one, going to get it now. Her and her mama would both enjoy it.

Snickers knows how to keep warm andwhere the sun is. Just like my little dog, he will walk back and forth, my BH just says what does he want, I tell him to put a blanket in the window and he will be fine, sure enough he jumps up and goes to sleep. Love the crystal and the reflections they make.

I had to laugh, we made a snowman with the grandkids while visiting in NC... 4 days later he was melted and the sticks and carrots lay on the ground and at first I thought you have melted a bunch of snowmen until I saw the rest of the snow, do you think they will eat them?
