The Last Hurrah . . .

Let's Hope!

A storm rolled in just after noon on Monday.
Oh  . .  it was predicted
we knew it was arriving
but really . . . another one.

It was grey, windy, cold
and a white out.
I took the pictures above
around four o'clock.
~

and this morning I took these
one has to admit
with bright sun shine
blue skies
there is no doubt
there is beauty

Front Yard Hemlock Tree

Snow Covered Spruce Tree
I think it looks like a Snowbird
that is a spruce branch nose

Snow Covered Hemlock Branches

Junco

they predicted four to six
we received ten
~
I think this is it
Snickers thinks so too
what about you?

It is gorgeous, Lynne! But, I do hope that this is nearly it for you. You've received more than enough snow this winter.

HI Lynne Oh the snow looks absolutely beautiful. I know it must be a bit of a pain to get out and about. I was looking forward to having snow here for great shots but so far NO snow! However I have very much enjoyed seeing it on other people's blogs

I think we are all tired of this weather - even the head cheerleading winter fan in me thinks that as well. Let's hear it for spring!!

And this is what I love about living in a place that has 4 seasons! I can enjoy them all.

I will say that this year has finally convinced me that I could not live in Alaska. I love the state of Alaska. But this much winter is a bit much.

We can only hope Lynne..I was thinking about your roof..Since you are going to do a new roof, you might think about putting a 3 ft piece of rubber under the shingles along the edges..We did that with our last roof..Supposed to prevent ice damming..Doesn't cost that much to do..

Good Evening Lynne, Bless him, poor Snickers does not look happy, I think he will be glad when the warmer weather arrives.
As beautiful as the photographs are to look at, my word 10 inches of snow! I don't think I have ever lived anywhere which has had that much snow. I do hope this is the last snow storm and that the warmer weather will soon arrive for you.
Best Wishes to you,
Daphne

Well, even though these pictures are beautiful, I hope it is the last hurrah...and hope we have seen our last one, too.

You can always count on more than what they offer when it comes to snow. This sure has been a Winter though, lovely shots

Oh my I do think the shot of the snowy trees in the sunlight is lovely but I am hoping for you that it is over. We are enjoying warmer temps right now (40's) and loving it. Your little dog is so cute.

Chris thinks we got 8 inches from that storm. You definitely won. This freezing rain/slop can stop anytime. I'm wondering what schools will be closed on Friday? Our subdivision is a chunky icy mess. Yuck!
