Everything Is Coming Up Pink . . .

The baby shower week has arrived.
I won't bore you with all the details
but I will let you know that the four event planners,
(that would be the Granny's and Great Granny's,)
have been having lots of fun.

So many ideas we all had and
thank you Pinterest very much for also being in our lives!

Putting together tissue paper decorative balls was the goal for today.
My friend Jackie and I put a few of them together
during our Tuesday morning visit.
After Jackie left for home I called my friend Barbie for more help.
Tedious to do, and so much more fun with conversation.

A few hours later, ten fluffy pink, magenta
tissue paper balls were ready for Saturday.
As you can see, they have taken over the house.

The shower invitee list kept growing
so we decided on a local venue to house us.

The color theme is pink, white and lime green.

Such fun it is to find things for a little one
I loved this cute bag to hold some treats.

I promise more pictures after Saturday
with the food and sweet menu too.
But until then, can you guess what these
eighty wrapped treats will be?

Mommy to be liked Tinkerbell when she was a little girl.
I thought this was a perfect thought
for a momma and daddy about to bring a babe into the world..

I'll be back soon with lots more . . .
Love, Lynne

Lynne, the tissue balls are pretty..You are creative..I am going to guess and say the treat has something to do with nuts? Congrats to the new mommy&daddy to be. I am sure everyone will have a great time at the baby shower.

It looks like it will be a fun baby shower, Lynne. I've made those tissue paper flowers and they are fun to do with a friend or two. As you said, conversation makes the time go faster. Enjoy.

Lynne, this must be the season for babies and showers! My sweet friends hosted a Peter Rabbit themed party for my little mother to be. I can't wait to see what else you have planned.

Lynne, looks like the baby shower is shaping up beautifully. Might steal some ideas for the shower I'm helping with in June (I'm an honorary aunt!).
