Peter Rabbit . . .

My Scott was born 4.14.64
Scott will celebrate his fiftieth birthday tomorrow, 4.14.14
I wonder what his lucky number could be?

Family and friends enjoyed
Happy Birthday
celebrations with him over the weekend.

You may remember that I mentioned in an earlier post that
Peter Rabbit
was Scott's favorite book as a little boy.

We had a grown up
 being fifty moment
earlier today
when his
six foot seven inch self
sat on my lap for a
 reading of
Peter Rabbit.

What a good sport he was!

Leave it to him,
Scott did that rubbing his nose thingy
with his blanket for me
just like he did years ago.

  Taking A Break
has been a very good thing for me.
I needed it . . .
and now I am taking off for a week in Florida
and then I will be back to all things usual.

Until then,
Love, Lynne

This made me smile!
Happy birthday to your Scott.
We enjoyed a visit to our neighbor this evening for her birthday - she turned 95 today! She said she's celebrating like 60. :)
She went out for lunch & time on the town with her sister, who was 100 last summer. Incredible ladies.

6'7"! I'm still smiling.

What fun! Love these pictures, Lynne. Birthday blessings to your big boy! I'll be 46 next month. I wonder if my Mom would let me sit on her lap and read to me in 4 more years? Enjoy your time in FL!!

Good Afternoon Lynne, How wonderful, your 50 year old son Scott, sitting on your lap, rubbing his nose and listening to the story of Peter Rabbit.
My eldest daughter used to rub her nose with her blanket when she was a little girl and this sent her off to sleep.
I am so glad you are having a wonderful time.
Oh, by the way, my private email is, jackie_bryson@hotmail.com. Don't forget to send me your address and I will send the Woman's Weekly magazine.
Best wishes to you.

Happy Birthday to your sweet baby boy! Don't you wish we could hold them in our arms like when they were little?
It was so sweet for you to relive a precious moment, and I love when they play along. Have a wonderful time with Thelma, or are you Thelma and Barb Louise? Love and Happy Easter my dear friend. Penny
