I have been a bit of a
I didn't realize it until I saw a post
from bj of sweet nothings this morning.
(It is a delightful post, please stop by, you'll enjoy!)
See the sweet jar above with the zinnia's.
An empty jar of Organic Red Raspberry Preserves
is being used for a container of flowers.
I saw the idea, and copied it from my friend Barbie.
I was at her house the other day and was able to take many pictures
which I will be showing you very soon.
Isn't her presentation wonderful . . . I like it best.
Oh, I like mine too but I love her smaller jar and arrangement.
I was in luck, I had an opened jar of the preserves,
put them in another container and readied this one for the flowers.
Hopefully Barbie will receive my coping as a compliment.
She is in a blog break right now.
You can find her here, she will be back posting soon.
Enjoy these next days of summers end.
So many of the flowers seem brilliant in color and bloom.
~
'till the next time,
Love, Lynne

Very pretty, and perfect for a summer arrangement. Sometimes jars are just too pretty to hide away.
Hi Lyne,
Well, I think that the best ideas are often the simplest and I have always put flowers in all sorts of containers and they usually look their prettiest in an old jar or little pot….. so much nicer than a flamboyant vase filled to bursting. A simple jam jar looks so pretty with a few wildflowers that have been picked on a walk. XXXX
Copy catting is a compliment!
Going out to cut some zinnias right now.
imitation is the highest form of flattery. :)
Great idea Lynne .
How I love my zinnias for making bouquets .
My Zins are in full swing right now so lots of vases full of flowers about this ole farm house.
What a beautiful idea!! I love it :)
Lovely and fun idea.
The zinnias are beautiful right now. I don't have any but I've seen them around. Love the idea of a jelly jar being used as a vase. Very cute. Hope you're having a wonderful day.
Lynne, I love zinnias! Your arrangement is lovely! I do not think your friend will mind you copying! Enjoy your day!
Simple and cute!
I love it.
I've been saving my little square jam jars from Cracker Barrel; perfect little vases.
Have a happy day.
