Walking the Channel . . .

a beautiful morning for a walk at the channel
I met a friend there this morning and we walked out to the red lighthouse
gorgeous day, smooth waters

Muskegon Michigan South Pierhead Lighthouse,
for the first time since the lighthouse was built in 1903
it will be open for regular summer public tours.

I am going back to walk the many steps to the top
and plan to invite "that guy of mine" to join me.

How about that blue fence
I thought it was perfect for

a thank you to Theresa for hosting good fences
~
thank you for visiting me
and for your comments too
until next time,
Love, Lynne

Hello Lynne, looks patriotic with the red lighthouse, blue fence and I suppose the concrete could be white. I love lighthouse, the climb up the steps is fun. Great fence shot. Enjoy your evening.

Nice perspective with your photo! Also, the combination of the fence, the large rocks, the water, the lighthouse, and the blue sky yields a very pleasant image. Thanks for sharing. :)

An old lighthouse with many stairs to the top that is open for tours sounds like a perfect way to get some exercise while being immersed in some early history.

If your man won't climb those steps with ya, I will. :)
