Cute little helper! Maybe she will become a gardener some day. When I was little (back in the 50's) we would visit people on Sunday afternoons and invariably the hostess would send my mom home with a start of something from her garden. There was a superstition that if you thanked the giver for the plant, it wouldn't grow. Years ago my husband had a food delivery route and we still have plants that customers sent home.

How special it must be to plant something that came from someone else's garden. That was very sweet of you.

I have the same ground cover plants! And I have some of your wonderful irises. Thank you.

My favorite picture is your great grand watering and feeding the plants with love.

You're right about the chocolate, and how fun to have your great-grand helping with the watering, a true gardener in the making!

Japanese Iris, sounds pretty. There is nothing more fun than having little grands around to help, my favorite thing by far!
Have a nice weekend!

how cute she is watering...
somehow, this brought to mind of when our boy was tiny...he would sit on his granddad's knee and look at coins *my daddy loved to collect coins* and Papaw would be looking at them with his magnifier...he would give it to David and let Dave look, too...when Papaw would get the magnifier back, it would be all dirty and it took Papaw awhile to learn that little David was holding the spy glass up to his mouth and "looking" at the coins...we laughed about it for years.
