United States Navy Band
Free Tickets
Sold Out
Beautiful Frauenthal Theater Filled To The Brim
AND . . .
Selected students from Muskegon County schools
were invited to play with the band for one of the numbers.
AND
Veterans from Coast Guard, Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy
were invited to stand while we cheered in thankfulness for their service.

It was wonderful. I was filled with pride when my
Navy guy Veteran, "Mister Irish" Jack Kennedy stood up!

The U.S. Navy Band visited two Michigan cities, Ann Arbor and Muskegon.



The Navy Concert Band, the wind ensemble of the U.S. Navy, presents a wide array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire. As the original ensemble of the Navy Band, the Concert Band has been performing public concerts and participating in high-profile events for nearly 90 years.

Weather and sniffles changed our plans a bit for attending all the St Patrick's Day events.
We made a "cameo visit" to the Friday Evening St Patrick's Day party . . . VERY FULL HOUSE!
Mister Irish attended the Flag Rising and the Parade . . .
Here he is all Dapper and ready to go . . .
Snickers stayed home with me . . .


Today we celebrate Mister Irish parents 68th Wedding Anniversary . . .

I've seen the Navy Band (and Pershing Own Army band) many a time in DC. Always a great shows no matter what the theme!

Great pictures of Jack. I've got to go back and try to catch up on some of your posts. I've been meaning to write..forgive me for not being a better friend. I'm struggling just a bit. You sound well and happy and that makes me happy.
