It's up here at the lake, too. I even saw some trees on the route that were flaming red. Not ready! (That said, it was 80 yesterday and I went swimming in the lake!)

Good evening, Lynne. Foggy mornings, heavy dew, lots of yellows in our yard and woods...yes, fall is in the air and I love it.

Another day, another note from me. I can see where you'll be busy, Lynne. It'll take time to put Your beautiful yard to sleep for the winter. I'm looking at doing the same here. Yay...NOT!

I live in Wisconsin and have a wooded acre which I am creating into shade gardens - I am in love with your yard and the many ground covers you have - would you be so kind to list them - I am using hosta and vinca and hydrangea and pachysandra and many other plants - but I dare say your yard looks so lush and green and natural I feel a little envious - I know it takes a long time to establish a garden - so I look for any help and advice I can get..don't want to do this more than once - it is so much work - especially amending our horrible soil - that takes more time than anything. Appreciate any advice - thanks - Mary llen
