Happy Birthday & Retirement to Donna . . .
Huge thanks to fisherman Chuck for "catching" the walleye and perch.
Sometimes you just have to enjoy Deep Fried Fish YUM . . .
plus cakes, cookies, pies, desserts, cheesy potatoes, beans, coleslaw, corn bread,
macaroni & cheese, poppy seed salad, fruit salads, cheese, crackers . . .
you name it . . .
we neighbors made sure all the "sides" were there!
Beautiful evening . . . Inside and outside . . .
There were 40 of us plus 7 littles and Libby the dog!
The evening ended with a roaring camp fire . . .
I had so much fun dreaming up the cake decorations for Donna . . .
I printed off family photos, cut them down like "stick people".
Added backing and stick picks so they would stand up amongst the greeting . . .

Didn't turn out exactly as I planned but I had a great time creating!
(Wish I had remembered to take the cake out of the box!)

She scored a Hole In One a few weeks ago!
Added "golf wizard" to her title . . .
Warmer than burnt toast here today but we are off to enjoy the Irish Festival . . .
