Tucked Away . . .

One more year . . . closing in . . .
and off we go into twenty eighteen . . .

The greens have been tossed . . .
vases, containers washed and put away as we wait for the flowering of spring . . .
I am sure I will slip in some colorful tulips in those vases while I wait though . . .

Mister Irish brought the boxes, containers downstairs for me to tuck in Christmas twenty seventeen.
And he has taken those boxes back upstairs . . . they are all tucked away in the attic for next year. . .
Something refreshing about the process . . . remembering the baubles, color and glitzening . . .
yet wondering . . . what will the next year bring . . .

By the way . . . as I dismantled the manager scene,
I found my watercolor gems tucked away inside the book . . .

Our world is surrounded in white right now . . .
We are enjoying winter snow walks . . . morning and evening . . .
Gorgeous moon last night lightening up the outdoors like daytime . . .

Our new year will be filled with snow blowing, shoveling and snow walking . . .
plus watching, feeding and being entertained by the birds.
They are such fun to watch . . . flitting around like a bunch of children playing in the snow!
Our new bird feeding station has fit the ticket!
Squirrels come in to get some of the fallen feed but so far they can’t get past that baffle . . .
We counted ten plus Cardinals the other day and bunches of Juncos, Finches and more!

Happy New Year my friends . . .
Thank you for being in my life . . .
Wishing you bunches of love,
joy filled days . . .
good health, no drama, new adventures . . .
friends and family to keep you warm . . .
hugs . . .
and for us all . . .
Peace Filled Living . . .
Love ~
Lynne

Hello, you are ahead of me taking the decorations down. I am going to work on mine tomorrow.
I love your bird feeding station, the baffle is great. It is so cold here, I can't wait until spring. Love the cute shot of you at the end. I wish you all the best in 2018, Happy New Year to you and your family.

Love to see all your lovely birds being cared for. It is so cold here in Ontario that ours need all the help they can get. Have a Very Happy New Year, Lynn. Here's to the best year yet. xo

I love everything about this post -- mostly your fabulous face and those wonderful watercolors that are inspiring me to get out my paints tomorrow! Start the New Year right!

Wishing you much joy in 2018! And maybe a meet-up for real this time!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Lynne!! Our outside looks the same as yours...cold and snowy. The inside of our home is still decorated though. We usually wait until after New Year's to take it all down. Right now I am sitting in front of the fire, enjoying a bit of leftover Christmas view. All the best in 2018! xo
