It’s A Small Town Life . . .
This sweet Robin was hopping around our yard early Sunday morning. And, not just this one, but many were coming and going. I've always heard that a Robin is a sure sign of spring being on its way. If this is the case, well spring is on its way in full force.
Did you also know....
If a Robin stays close to the house in the Fall, a harsh Winter is on its way.
If you break a Robin's eggs, then something of yours will soon be broken.
Robins are thought to be helpful to humans, sometimes granting favors.
If a Robin flies into your home, a family member will soon die.
"Crimson Clover I discover, by the garden gate,
and the bees about her hover, but the Robins wait.
Sing, Robins, sing, Sing a roundelay.
'Tis the latest flower of spring coming with the May."

What I wouldn't give to see a robin right now.
