good morning to you . . .

 good morning
it has been days, weeks
I wish I could get back in the swing of things
life just keeps getting in the way
but here I am
such a pretty time of the year
in the midst of gusty wind storms
and almost zero rain

reading kristin hannah’s,
The Four Winds
reminding me to not complain
about wind and no rain

mister irish is healing
collar remains in place for more weeks
we take walks and car rides
and work on patience
he fixed some sprinkler heads
laid a bit of mulch for me
carefully

springtime perennial pop ups
plus colorful annual possibilities
bring me zest and good cheer
here are some for you
love
lynne

It's nice to see a post from you. I hope your husband continues to heal and can put up with wearing the collar a bit more. Lovely flowers! -Jenn

Your spring pop ups are beautiful. I love the white bleeding hearts, especially. I'm glad things are moving along -- I suspect you have to work at patience, too. Keep on keeping on. You're roundign the stretch.

Hello Lynne,

Thanks so much for your visit. I'm so sorry to hear about Snickers. It's always so hard. I received a lot of well wishes that meant a lot to me when Milo passed, and again on Instagram when I posted of the two years that have gone by. Very, very hard but we also have big hearts to love another pet.

I didn't know about your husband. I wish him well. It's so had to be cooped up and not feeling well on top of it. We are cherishing our time in getting out and about now that Illinois is reopening. Of course we wear our masks. It's just delightful to be with family and go to restaurants occasionally.

Your plants are so pretty. Thank God for perennials! Little work and all the beauty! I'm planting more and more as I try to spread my time between the cottage and city.

I have a problem with Blogger where I go to upload pics. They used to automatically pop up and I selected the ones I wanted. Now there are various places to get them: URL, Photos, Google Archive, and some don't have a way to click on. So I'm working with Linda, of Life With Linda, who knows all things Blogger.

Happy Spring and be well! Take care of that hubby of yours and remember, patience is a virtue and we all have to work at it!❤️
