If I would do this more often I would find it easier.
I wrote a long post, ready to publish,
and I must have highlighted the pictures and words,
lost it all.
beginning again
First of all, this really tough year is behind us.
“Mister Irish” is feeling really great.
He is walking, driving, volunteering,
crossing off things on my “honey do” list.
What a miracle he has survived,
we are so very thankful.
The loss of our precious dog Snickers
in the midst of his recovery almost did us in.
We miss her sooooo much!
I write here so seldom, I have forgotten how,
what to do to compose a post.
Clue for me, “practice makes perfect,”
Get going.
I will start out with a picture of Jack with Snickers a few years ago.
Gotta love that orange sweater!
And sweet pup!
And then us at Jack’s sisters a few days ago.
Celebrating his 71 and me holding up the ‘ole lady 82 end.
(Jack loves the ‘ole lady line!)
And then a bunch of pictures from today,
to backwards through the months.
I have found a renewed love with watercolor.
The grands are all growing up, greats too!
Great grand Oakland is seven, Elijah is five.
I promise I will practice entering words and pictures for my next post.
All photos are mine except for sunset with Ferris wheel,
it is a Janet Sutherland photo,
And the watercolor garden house sketch is by Donna Treppa.
The boating picture is my son and family at Crockery lake.

Thank you for visiting and staying with me.
‘til next time
love

I'm so glad to see you posting again! It's been quite the year but you've come out on top -- and this selection of wonderful photos proves that. Here's to your return, a future post and more joy from your world!
I'm so glad that Mr. Irish is feeling better and your tough year is over. I know what you mean about forgetting how to post - as my blog sits quiet, I think about posting, but sometimes I'm not sure how to get back to it. I'm wishing happy days ahead.
We lost our cat Birdie this winter also. It was tough as we loved her but she loved us more. She was devoted to only Ken and I and snarl at anyone else horning in on her people.
