What a fabulous 1950's photo - love your outfit and your brother's too!
I love your tree with it's family treasures and the other lovely treasures in your home. The vintage photo is awesome Lynne. Do I see a Gordon tartan throw on the sofa? Have a wonderful week. xo Pam
Treasures and memories.
Merry Christmas.
Hello Lynne, your tree is beautiful. I like the photo of you and your brother. A great Christmas memory. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Very nice Christmas tree
Great photo! Your tree and decorations are so festive. I wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit much until I decorated the house on Saturday, which helped immensely. Even the cold days so far this season are relatively warm. No complaints really, it's just weird. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your "dreaming." :)
Lynne...Hi dear friend..I would ask how you are doing but it looks like all is well at your pretty home. I love those window decals. Are they gold? They look golden in the photo. I am done with my decorating and it took all I could muster to finish.
I really had fun doing it though..
It's freezing cold here..32 degree's this morning..looks like Winter has arrived in Southern California. Love and hugs to you two.

i like the old music box sitting there. wanted to play it. :)
The photo of you and your brother is totally priceless! Back to the days of real trees and tinsel. I remember finding pieces of tinsel hiding in the shag carpet in June. LOL Always one or two stray strands that hid way down in the shag.
That is a wonderful photo of you and your brother!
Your tree is gorgeous, Lynne. I see a little lamb there. The b & w photo reminds me of my family Christmas years ago. The tinsel on the tree sure takes me back. Deb
Merry Christmas Dear Lynne. I too wanted to listen to the music box.
I think I would have loved your mother. A woman of wonderful taste and talent.
It's all so pretty Lynne! I have a very similar picture of my brother and I in front of our tree from the 70's. Funny how some things never change!!
Wishing you and yours a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
Love all the pictures that you shared with us, and your warm memories of Christmas' past...

So many people posting beautiful Christmas decorations and I love them all but I have to say there is a peace and beauty here, combined with nostalgic memories, that really touches my heart.
Merry Christmas to you!
You certainly do have a way with words, Lynne...
Love this post...
And your decor...very festive and yet refreshing...at the same time!!
I can smell the white pine...lovely!
Have a wonderful Christmas my friend...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I must look thru olden photos and find one of my brother and I...loved seeing yours.
I am ready for Christmas.....
Your photo looks like my Grandmother's living from only her's was in 1970's color, but same decor :)
Wishing you a very blessed Christmas, even if it's going to be a green one. I just love that childhood photo. Precious.
Wishing you a peaceful and creative season full of joy and happiness Lynne.
Merry Christmas!

Oh my, Lynne! That photo of you and your brother takes me back to my younger years. The TV, the tinsel icicles, the circle skirt and sweater. Bangs. . .yes. So nostalgic! xo ~ Nancy
