All About the Birds . . .

every few weeks i make my trek to purchase food for the birds
my favorite place is the
NUTHATCH
Muskegon, Michigan

this is such a delightful little shop
i enjoy each of my visits
lori/laura, the owner of the nuthatch
has knowledge of everything birds
plus seed, food, suet, feeders, garden art

see the containers on the floor
part of my supply i purchased today
love having the seed in containers
makes it much easier for these arthritic hands to handle

this is the seed and suet aisle

garden ornaments, bird baths
benches and chimes

such fun it is to pull up to the entrance
with the birds flocking here and there
and the sounds of cheerful chirps

laura has several feeders
placed near the entrance
and in the rear garden area

a very happy setting
for the birds and for customers

laura's sister sue has
a vintage shop
VINTAGE VIOLA
 located next to the nuthatch
a doll collector plus many things vintage
can be found in her shop

as i said previously
laura has a wealth of information
if you have questions
add a 231 with the number above
and give her a call
~ ~ ~

i would rather be the one taking the pictures
instead of the one being taken
hubby clicked one of me today
as i took off for lunch with my daughter suzie

Susan Guinon

suzie had surgery
this past week for a broken wrist
a big ouch indeed
she is learning to be left handed for awhile

linda, suzie's mother in law and I
enjoyed lunch and a relaxing visit
we are very happy suzie is feeling better
~
snowstorm #927 has arrived

hope your daughter heals well! hmmm. reminds me of a certain someone who injured her finger on a bird feeder... :)

i love the looks of that shop. i'll occasionally stop in at our local podunk ace hardware - just to stroll thru their bird feeders and baths, etc.

That looks like a great place for bird things Lynne. Your daughter looks like you! I'm glad she is doing okay with her broken wrist. That would be an adjustment! Enjoy the rest of the week.

I love the idea of putting the bird seed in containers...that makes it so much easier to pour.

We had a beautiful little bird shop in White Rock...I do miss it. Such a lovely selection.

Up here they feed the birds...but it's not the same.

That looks like a great little bird store. My husband loves the birds and makes sure to put seed out every day. Glad you had a nice lunch with your daughter!

Lynne, I love stores like this one! I could get lost in there looking at everything. Your post reminds me, I would like another birdbath to put in my side yard. I hope you daughter recovers quickly. It is hard trying to be lefthanded when you are not! Wishing you a happy day, Eileen

Don't you look spiffy in your outfit! Love the scarf and boots. I hope your daughter mends quickly. Brings back memories of my broken foot and surgery recovery. Ouch. Thanks for sharing those shops.

The snow is coming down fairly well at 6:20 this morning. The girls were hoping for a snow day.

Hubby had a reason to take a photo.

You look lovely.

Love your outfit and boots. Sexy lady you are. Hubby must thinks so.

We have a snow storm coming in.

So enjoy your birds and feeders.

I bet I can count up to ten leg breakes and feet mishaps since January like your daughter.

Sorry to hear that. I just prayed for her as I send this off to you.
