Over The Moon . . .

some things
simply put me over the moon

sometimes during the night
often first thing in the morning
walking through the door after being gone for awhile
when certain people come to visit

she rolls over on her back
feet go up in the air
belly faces the moon
and she says, please . . . come on . . . rub my belly

LITTLE DOGS RHAPSODY IN THE NIGHT
he puts his cheek against mine
and makes small, expressive sounds.
and when I'm awake enough

he turns upside down, his four paws
in the air
and his eyes dark and fervent.

"Tell me you love me," he says.

"Tell me again."

Could there be a sweeter arrangement?
Over and over
he gets to ask
I get to tell.

Our 7 month old puppy loves to have her belly rubbed. When she is lying on her back with her arms raised to be petted, she looks like a Wookie.

Your little one is precious.

Definitely precious. Furry family members bring such joy! I have a little cat on my lap as I type. Such comfort.

such sweet sweet photos and words, our Yorkie sleeps like that beside me, our fattest cat like that between my hubbies feet, the others curl, and isn't there something so vulnerable about that position in animals, their total trust and all that love!

Animals bring so much don't they ? XXXX

Hi, a dear blogging friend told me about your blog.

Your little baby is so precious! We have three dogs and they bring us so much joy. Our oldest chihuahua loves belly rub time. :)

What a sweet post Lynne...Mollie does that every morning...They look so cute in that position...Little devils that they (mollie) are..Max does the same thing only he doesn't quite make it to his back and the belly rubs definitely need to be quick...

What a sweet post, Lynne.
It's amazing how our furry friends wend their way into our hearts :)
I feel the same way about our Rowdy.

Take care, friend.

Ooooh, you had me tearing up over this one! I don't have a dog, but I have two very lovable demonstrative kitties. They give me head butts and paw pokes and sit on my lap whenever I sit down. Nothing like that kind of unconditional love! We are blessed!

Ooohh..this made me cry. We do love them so, don't we? I think all of us who love our pets so very much, completely related to this. Your little one is so precious!
