Having Some Fun, Randomly . . .

ONE
Well you must all know by now that I have been pretty much
snowbound around here the past few months.
Surprised?
Well a few days ago, late at night, I got moved from
Snowbound to Snowlogued and then Waterlogued!
It is a fun app where you take one of your personal photos
and change up the look just a bit.
The photo above and the next four
are my results from playing around with Waterlougue..

Photo Above: NYC from this past October.
TWO
I made another tulip delivery today.
It is such fun to do.
This one I dropped off for a friend of mine celebrating a birthday
She is a parapro in science at one of our local schools.
I dropped the flowers off at the main office of the school.
The gal there didn't know who my friend was so
she called someone into the office, asked her if she knew her,
she did and I asked her if she
would mind taking the flowers to my friend.
She said to me, "don't you want to take them"
and I said, "oh no, I want her to be surprised."
So off the gal went with a huge smile on her face.
I think she enjoyed being the delivery gal!

 THREE
It was so exciting this morning.
It was a bird frenzy outdoors at the feeders.
I saw five male Cardinals and five more females
flitting out and about from the back yard Hemlock tree
Believe me I have never seen so many Cardinals together in the yard.
At the same time the Finches and Juncos were
fighting for a spot on the Thistle Sock Feeder.
No time for photos,
Just Use Your Imagination

FOUR
I have walked everyday, in the morning,
for years and years.
I miss my walk very much.
It truly is the most difficult part for me of this winter blitz.
So beautiful around here but almost impossible
to get out to walk or drive to enjoy it!
Soon, very soon, I will
be pounding the pavement
to make up for my days of not walking.
I think I am going to purchase some orange, happy looking, sneakers!

FIVE
Poor little Snickers
We are still nursing her bum leg/hip.
We hope better weather will
make it possible for her to get out to exercise more.
We hope strengthening those muscles will help.
We are enjoying the extra cuddling.

Beautiful edits on these photos. I really like that app and may have to do something about it myself. I hope you have a snow free weekend. It's crazy the amount of snow you have this year. Hugs. Pam

Love the "watercolors"! I, too, am stuck inside and have had enough. Hope your sweet pup gets some exercise and relief soon. Our Oliver is not happy being housebound.

Best,
Bonnie

Love the photos - so interesting. I have had lots of cardinals too this winter - they are just such a miracle to me every time I spot one :-)

oh love the photo takes you did. I love doing that also.

It gives such a lift . Especially us guys who see snow and more snow.

I enjoyed even Snickers. he is not well. Ah poor baby. I bet he wishes it was Spring and he cant talk to you and say it so he is sick. Get the hint Mommy dearest.

Have a great day!

i know my weather is not nearly as severe as yours, but i'm feeling cooped up from my daily walks/runs, too.

I absolutely love the watercolor effects! I'd be hanging them all over the house. :)
What a sweet surprise for your friend, and to have a yard full of cardinals - we don't get them here, I would be over the moon!
I feel the same about the winter - it's been hard for us to spend much time out of the house this year. Our dog, who just turned 6 last weekend, has his first limp going on this winter - appears to be a muscle in the leg or hip that doesn't like the cold, it cramps up on him outdoors. I've been hoping the same - that getting back to normal activity in more normal weather will help.
Enjoy your weekned!

I like all your editing- it makes the photos look like pastel watercolor paintings. Hope lil pup is feeling better soon. I know what you mean about walking- I've had a bum knee for about four weeks and am just now getting to walk. It's like starting all over again!

Heaven's Lynne...they look like paintings! I wish I could ..NO, I NEED to take the time to experiment and learn to do things for myself on this blamed computer! I'm just lazy..impatient!

Mele had one day of a hip thing, rushed her to the vet..the next day it simply disappeared. She is getting old. Scares me. I hope is able to get out and get some sun and exercise soon. Wanna bring him when you come to CALIFORNIA? I'll pick you up at the Ontario airport!! :)

Lynne, your edited photos are wonderful. I love them all! Poor Snickers, what caused the bum leg/hip? I am ready for spring, more my type of weather for walking. Have a happy weekend!

These are wonderful. I love the watercolor look. I played around with that effect from Be Funky this week.
Great Random thoughts too. The Tulip idea is so cool. Sort of reminds me of doing "May Day" flowers. Hope you & your sweet little dog get to go out soon for some fun walking. Winter is really taking it's toll on everyone it seems.
