Happy Feet . . .

Lil ' O is beginning to like books
when her momma reads this one
to her it makes her have
happy feet

We were invited to a brunch today.
Sometimes birthday celebrations go on and on.
New great grand baby Oakland was there too.
She is sitting on my sons lap.

A few days before the brunch
Oakland and her mom and dad were at the house visiting.
Here she is sitting with my grandson Tyler, her daddy.
Snickers is being very sweet and curious.

Here she is holding her momma's hand.
My oh my  . . . she is growing and changing so fast.

My first roses of the season are as sweet as can be
as is
 Little Oakland Victoria .
~
a bit of an aside
I made my follow up visit to my doctor this past wednesday
good news for me
blood pressure
110/70
thirteen pounds less

eating less processed
portion control
watching my salt, sugar, breads
helps me feel great

not perfect
but I am on a roll
for month number two
~
Until next time,
Love, Lynne

Oakland is so sweet. So fun to have a baby in one's life isn't it. Good for you on losing 13 pounds. That's great and also, the best part, getting your blood pressure down. Keep up the good work. I wish I could get the sweets out of my life. I'd look and feel a lot better too. It's a battle between me and chocolate. Hugs. Pam

Lil O' is a doll baby. You are doing great with your B/P and weight. It is so difficult-I am very active and eat right but weight has always been a problem. Have a terrific week. I am off for jury duty. xo, Olive

Oh Lynne, Lil' O and her wistful looks, she is so beautiful. That is one of PJ's favorite books too. So glad that your small changes made a big difference. Take care dear one. Love, Penny

Sweeeeet! I just love the sweet innocents of a child. Congratulations on the -13 pounds, great job and it is important to get the blood pressure down. Oakland is such a sweetie, I have a 4 week old grandson and I've been cooing and cawing a lot, lol

Little Oakland is sure growing & sweet!
13 pounds! Go, YOU!!
I have not lost weight since I had my 5th child.. he's 7 now, so it's becoming rather a stubborn issue.
I made a deal to myself (and had my doctor write it on my chart for me as a goal for my check up next year) to lose 20 pounds. You're over halfway to my goal. :)
