Happy Springtime . . .

Easter time and springtime flowers brings out
one of my children's favorite books.
As the story goes, once upon a time there were four little rabbits,
Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter.
They lived with their mother underneath the root
of a very big fir tree in the forest.
This book has wonderful illustrations.
Remember Mr. McGregor and Peter's garden mischief.
Peter Rabbit was my son Scott's all time favorite book.
I love seeing my mother's handwriting in the book.
Amazing isn't it how ones personal handwriting
can immediately bring up the exact image of the person.
I also like this Peter Rabbit pop up card I have saved for years.
Several years ago someone showed me how to blow the yolk out of an egg
and here are some of the eggs I have saved for many years.
I still have six to eight of the eggs.
They are such lovely colors,
pale peach, blue and tan.
One of my favorite photos of me as a young girl.
I loved my animals . . .
Here I am with our newest litter of cocker spaniel pups.
I like pink tulips to brighten the house on these early spring days.

Happy Easter
Happy Spring
~
Thank you for visiting me and for your comments.
Until next time,
Love, Lynne

What a sweet post Lynne! I remember reading the Peter Rabbit story to my own kids. I love the sweet photo of you and your puppies. So cute. When my sister laughs I hear my mother's laugh and she says the same about me. ;) Little reminders of a loved one now gone. I wish you and Jack a very lovely Easter weekend. Blessings. Pam
