Easter time and springtime flowers brings out
one of my children's favorite books.
As the story goes, once upon a time there were four little rabbits,
Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter.
They lived with their mother underneath the root
of a very big fir tree in the forest.
This book has wonderful illustrations.
Remember Mr. McGregor and Peter's garden mischief.
Peter Rabbit was my son Scott's all time favorite book.
I love seeing my mother's handwriting in the book.
Amazing isn't it how ones personal handwriting
can immediately bring up the exact image of the person.
I also like this Peter Rabbit pop up card I have saved for years.
and here are some of the eggs I have saved for many years.
I still have six to eight of the eggs.
They are such lovely colors,
pale peach, blue and tan.

One of my favorite photos of me as a young girl.
