Random 5 Friday . . .

I have had time to do some reading in the past few weeks
No doubt none of my book choices would fall into the
earth shattering and profound category.
But, they were just what I needed, something easy to read, mindless.
I call it reading a bit of "fun and fluff."
Sweet Salt Air was my favorite.
~
mine are really random this week.

 1/  I learned a new word . . . Physiatrist.

2/  I realize more and more what a solitary soul I am.

3/  My children have asked,
"any advice for a good marriage,"
I said, "sit down to meals together."

4/  'If you are part of the wrong group,
nothing you do is right"
(not sure where I read or heard this.)

5/  The best thing about my husband Jack is when he laughs,
his entire body laughs,
his face turns red,
 his eyes water,
his body bounces.
Just delightful!
It makes me smile and giggle just to think about!
~
I'll be back soon,
Love, Lynne

Lynne, those look like really good reads. And, thanks for reminding me about the friday five thingy. Need to hop over there and put my two cents worth in.

I'm always interested in what folks are reading. Laughing is the best thing in the universe ... true happiness. I'm pretty solitary, too. Great randoms. Have a lovely weekend.

DO people still "sit down to meals' together? heck, even when i meet people at a restaurant - they spend time on their phones . . . I like reading your sweetie has an honest laugh . . . makes me happy to imagine it. Happy Day to You!

Thank you for the book suggestion as I am looking for something light. Feel like I might fall into that solitary camp a bit too...do you think it is our stage of life perhaps?

Wonderful random five, Lynne!
Made me smile, too.
Quite a week or so we've had here.. has had me thinking about so many things and about my own solitary soul. And thankful for laughs that make my eyes water!

Thanks for the ideas for some new reads! You should have added laugh together as marriage advice. But I like sitting down for meals together. Seems not a lot of families do that anymore.
