looking for some Bitter Sweet today,
I found a wonderful nature trail
and some fences
beautiful tall grasses
bunches of milk weed
dried pods
cattails

the bitter sweet berry was ready to burst into its bright orange
more bitter sweet
than I have seen in years
the grass around the house was covered
in yellow pine needles this morning
(although the photo doesn't seem to confirm the yellow)

Such are the lovely views of autumn time.
Hello Lynne, beautiful Autumn images. My favorite is the grasses and fence shot. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Lovely photos, Lynne. It does seem like it happened overnight! It's a gorgeous time of year. Wish it would last. Have a wonderful day.

The seasons are changing much to fast for me. Hard to believe this year is about gone. Maybe it is because I am getting older.
The plants around here are more green than they usually are. The fall colors haven't kicked in yet from what I can tell from my yard
We've been turning the past yen days or so...May have frost this weekend..Lovin' this weather..
I love that photo with the gorgeous grass growing over/through the fence.
Looks like fall has arrived there. It's such a pretty season.
I read your post yesterday, it was very touching. Death of a loved one is never easy.
Beautiful pictures I so enjoyed all.
So many pretty borders...love the tall grasses! There's something about the way they blow in the wind that moves me.
Things are starting to turn colors in my part of Illinois. I went to my favorite bittersweet spot only to find somebody had sprayed it as a weed! :( Starting my own patch next year.
Yay! It's so pretty .... all those changing colors. Just the ash trees and a few quakes have changes here, but I'm sure that the rest of the trees aren't far behind.
I would LOVE to have bittersweet here. Maybe someday....
So, did you scrub up the marker? Funny how that needs to be done, every now and then.
Have a wonderful afternoon, and thanks for sharing your very pretty pictures.

love those grasses! i think they're as pretty as wildflowers.
Love the fence with the tall grass. So full and gorgeous. I'm glad you're getting a lot of bittersweet. It's still one of my favorite fall decorations. xo
Thinking of you and your earlier post. I'm behind on blog reading. Enjoy this beautiful weekend. It might be a bit chilly but I'm hoping to enjoy some of the color while we still have it on the trees and not all over the ground! Hugs!
Please forgive me for not keeping up..I will get back to doing better soon I hope.
The pictures were so ..unpretentious. Beautiful! The grave...touched my heart. We are approaching that time of year..December 15, 1997 for me. And then again in Springtime and the worst was even yet to come..
One cannot know until it happens to them.
Sending you a big hug..and love..
Mona
Beautiful photos! I love the tall grasses along the fence and the bittersweet vines, which don't grow here. Fall happened slowly here too, then Bam!, overnight we are gloriously coloured. Enjoy the beauty. Hugs. Pam
Good morning...I would love to find a BUNCH of bittersweet...don;t think we have much of it out here on the plains.
My heart goes out to you - I've been there too.
Enjoy the beauty of this season - it really is quite magnificent, isn't it.
