Soggy Dreary Labor Day . . .

Weather report on the evening late news . .
We have received over 12 inches of rain in the past 8 days . . .
More than we have received in the past 3 months . . .

And every inch of my body is feeling this eight day saga!

‘til next time . . .

Hello,

I hope your weather improves. It is not a nice way to end the summer season. We had more than our fair share of rainy and cloudy days too. Happy Labor Day, have a great new week ahead!

Hot and sunny in Indy but rain probably coming
I am reading blogs and books-doing chores. Football Saturday was fantastic at the home of daughter and family!!! Some of our teams won-some lost! I am sentimental in how I cheer for the teams! Hope you get a reprieve from the rain but probably better tHan intense heat!!

I noticed during the Michigan football game everyone was tweeting about the storms. Hope you see some sunshine soon!

Oh my. That's a lot of rain in a week. We could use some here and it may shower through the night....I hope. It's so humid here today 24C but feels like 30 (90F). I won't complain as it will soon cool down and I will complain about the cold.

Hope the weather improves for you. We just finished a rainy few weeks in a row last month.

We definitely could have used this rain in July, at least some of it.

Oh my - that's a LOT of rain! I wonder if it's heading our way. It's been HOT here with lots of humidity - stifling... I hope you get better weather, soon. Fall is coming, and with any luck, cooler, drier weather!

I feel your pain. We had the second wettest August on record, and September seems to be following the same model. The soil is sodden and the water has nowhere to go. I hope this continuous deluge will end soon! Hang in there!

Hi, Lynne! So sorry about your aches! Ouch!

Hubby says we've gotten 9-inches of rain in the last 9-days...an entire summer's worth for us too. The drought caused us to lose many of our annuals but the perennials were OK with the irrigation. Crazy weather for sure!

OH I hope the rain has stopped for awhile. We are beginning to get rain from the hurricane. Hugs!

We're getting it now. It's been dreary for the past several days with more to come from a hurricane. I do hope that sun has returned for you and shows its face here again soon, too!!
