A Bit of This and That . . .

little fur ball
has been keeping
close watch
over this guy
who has been suffering
with an abscessed tooth
poor guy has not been his usual self
my garden house guy is looking forward to getting the
root canal taken care of next week

while my guy has been laying low
tweaking the flowers has been my thing

the cutting garden is such a treat
the zinnias and cosmos are blooming
along with the lavender, snapdragons, iris and more

cedar adds a nice mix with the white cosmos

guess where my best light is for pictures

the print is from one of my favorite places in tuscany

the polished stones are some treasures
from Tyler and Jordon
and their younger rock polishing days

the garden house window box
needed to be redone
slim pickings for choices

a neighbor told me about windex pads
if you want an easy way to clean your
large high to reach outdoor windows
this will do the trick

this is a telescoping pole
the pads attach by velcro to the pad on the pole

hose down the window
also wet the pad which you have attached to the pole
wash up down all around
rinse off with the hose

that is it
let it air dry

they work wonders for me
and ease the work for washing my
hard to reach outdoor windows

I found this product at my local department/grocery store

a rainy day today and my friend Barbie stopped over
for a porch visit and a Cosmo
it was much to chilly for the porch
even with that large fire flame burning
so inside we came
and I tried out the camera on my new iPad

you might want to stop in and visit Barbie
you can find her right here
she enjoys her family
estate shopping
glamper camping
baking
new recipes
and her brand new keens

that is it
told you it would be
a bit of this and that

Happy Fourth of July

Your poor husband! I can't believe they are making him wait until next week for his root canal!

Loved seeing all of your flowers. Looks like you and your friend had fun together. :)

Hugs to your hubby. That's a long time to wait for a root canal. Your flowers are gorgeous. I'm anxious to get home and see how much mowing I'll have to do. Darling picture of you and Barbie.

Okay - window washing is on my list for the weekend, but I am going to find one of those poles and the pads. I hope they are available up here. I absolutely hate window washing, but like sparkling windows!
I hope your husband is soon feeling back to normal and free of that pain!

Oh, I hope your Mr. is feeling better soon. I've had several root canals and they are okay. I usually get crowns afterward and they aren't as fun to me. Your bouquet is very pretty. I must look for those windex pad. What an easy way to do those hard to reach windows. Happy July 4th to you both!
