All About Fences . . .

We drove across the state this past weekend for a family reunion
and on our way home I asked Mr. IGH to stop along the way
so I could take some pictures of fences.

I liked this white fence surrounding a horse farm
and loved that blue sky too.

He wondered why "fences," I explained,
something to do with blogging
and a meme called
Good Fences

that brought on even more questions.
I told him I would forward my post on to him
so he could take a look.

I liked the white fence but
when we pulled off the road into a
park like area, I saw this fence
and liked it best.

How about you,
any fence photos available.
Why not join in,
you'll meet Theresa and the
Run-a-Round Ranch
and that always is a wonderful visit.
~
Until next time,
Love, Lynne

love the clean, white fencing on the horse ranch, but the wooded and green area is just perfect, too.

hope mr. igh gets it, now, and starts helping you spot some fencery! :)

Oh I love the white horse fence but I have to admit I love the old rail one better. Just a matter of old verses new I guess. Great shots. B

White fences are a sure sign of a horse farm. I like the rail fence, it blends in with the surroundings so beautifully.

I love both fences. The contrast of the white with the green grass and blue sky is beautiful. The split rail fence along the park is equally as lovely.

Thanks for mentioning the cocoa bean mulch. It looks great and smells great but it is poison to animals like chocolate is.

That fence has such a natural look to it so it just blends in with the trees.

I like both styles of fencing, but the weathered one pulls at the heartstrings more.

I love a good fence. Corner posts are the best!

Oh I think the white fence really stands out with that gorgeous blue sky. Weathered fences have more character though. Both are nice.
